Currently, we are recruiting qualified individuals for the following positions:

EH&S Coordinator – Operations

The candidate will ensure overall EH&S compliance for the organization. Serves as the company’s liaison with regulatory authorities on all EH&S issues and regulations. Inspects company property to identify deficiencies and develop corrective actions to address deficiencies. Assist with any investigation of company violations of a regulatory nature. Identify appropriate EH&S training programs for field personnel and office staff which include development and implementation of programs and manuals. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years experience managing EH&S activities in upstream O&G operations, bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent training and experience, industry specific certifications and excellent attention to detail. Must have current knowledge of state and federal regulations, proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook and a valid driver’s license. The candidate must be able to travel including overnight stays and available to work extended hours.

Regulatory Compliance Specialist - Operations

The candidate will provide regulatory compliance support and coordinate among multiple departments as well as federal and state regulatory agencies. Coordinate with engineers, geologists and surveyors to obtain plat drawn for proposed drilling locations. File permit applications, amend permit applications and other related forms for submission to regulatory agencies of well drilling completions and /or plugging. Monitor operating activities and advise local management regarding relative current or pending regulations. The ideal candidate will have at 5 years of experience with regulatory compliance within the oil and gas industry, some college or applicable education and be well versed with federal and various state regulatory agencies. Advanced software skills in Word, Excel and Outlook required as well as knowledge of Wellview and Enertia. Excellent attention to detail is a must.

Senior Lease Analyst –Land Administration

Analyze and interpret various legal documents, including but not limited to Leases,  JOA’s, Participation Agreements, Farm-in and Farm-out Agreements, Title Opinions, Mineral Deeds, Assignments and Mergers in order to create the record title ownership in Carrizo properties.    Reflect accurate accounting of all lease maintenance and obligations (delay rentals, extensions, options, shut-in royalty, minimum royalty, pugh clause payments, continuous drilling, releases, etc.).  The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between landmen, geologists, operators, partners, royalty owners and other oil and gas technical professionals.  Must have at least 8 years related experience and at least 5 years in a similar role.  Required experience includes 8 years of related experience in land/lease role and 5 years of industry experience. College degree in related field  and/or applicable certification is plus.  Must be proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook and have the ability to learn and use new software.  Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Production Engineer – Operations

Oversee and monitor daily production operations to ensure maximum productivity and profitability. Includes, but may not be limited to monitoring and reviewing producing well performance, pipeline installations and troubleshooting related issues.  The candidate will provide facilities support to field personnel, including but may not be limited to planning efficient equipment hookups, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory agencies, writing specifications and securing bids/quotes as needed, and assisting with appropriate material transfers. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience with strong management and organizational skills.  Candidate must have completion, shale and horizontal drilling experience, be able to travel to field locations and work outside traditional work hours.  Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and have advanced knowledge of cased and open hole logs.  Working knowledge of Autodesk, ARCMap and Wellview helpful. Advanced background in pipeline installations, codes and regulations is critical. Prior working experience in Barnett and Marcellus shales helpful, but not required. Must have BS in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.

Geophysicist Job Description

The candidate should demonstrate an extensive working knowledge of all technical principles, theories, and concepts within the geophysical discipline and can apply state of the art technology to address or resolve issues and to determine the best course of action. The candidate must have experience laying out acquisition programs and quality controlling seismic data processing. Familiarity with state of the art analysis techniques is desirable. Expertise in integrating the geology into the geophysical interpretation is mandatory and knowledge of synthetic seismogram generation and use is required. In order to maximize his effectiveness in the team environment the candidate should be knowledgeable about all aspects of the oil business as it pertains to the geophysics discipline including the role of the geology, land, drilling, and engineering. The candidate must be experienced in the use of geophysical interpretation mapping software and workstation, preferably Kingdom SMT. Familiarity with Petra is also desirable. Three to ten years of experience in the oil & gas business, preferably in working resource plays such as gas shales or oil shales. A bachelor’s degree or higher in related field required.

Geologist Job Description

The candidate should demonstrate an extensive working knowledge of all technical principles, theories, and concepts within the geologic discipline and can apply state of the art technology to address or resolve issues and to determine the best course of action. It is important that the candidate be able to perform standard petrophysical evaluation of well logs to define pay intervals as well as use the information to explore for new opportunities. Experience in organizing data is important. Data includes well logs, core data, XRD, SEM, and geochemical. The candidate must be experienced in the use of mapping and cross section software, preferably PETRA. Familiarity with Kingdom SMT is also desirable. The candidate must have experience at the well site in both guiding horizontal well drilling as well as quality control logging runs. Three to ten years of experience in the oil & gas business, preferably in working resource plays such as gas shales or oil shales. A master’s degree or higher in related field required. In order to maximize his effectiveness in the team environment the candidate should be knowledgeable about all aspects of the oil business as it pertains to the geoscience discipline including the role of the geophysics, land, drilling, and engineering.

Office Clerk

Responsible for distributing all incoming and interoffice mail as well as ordering and maintaining appropriate levels of office and kitchen supplies. Acts as a primary contact for supply and mail vendors. Provide back- up Receptionist duties as well. The ideal candidate will have one year of prior experience in an office clerk role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have adequate working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
