Senior Business Data Analyst
                        
Responsibilities
   
• Review and test new upgrades to Enertia and provide support during implementation
• Research Data Input issues – Examine application data input, identify deficiencies, and propose remediation solutions.
• Research Data Cleanup issues – Examine legacy and current data, identify deficiencies, and propose remediation solutions.
• Examine Business Processes – Examine the business process surrounding data entry and handling, identify deficiencies, and provide solution recommendations.
• Provide User Training
• Provide Secondary Enertia Functional Helpdesk Support –Filter out training-related issues from technical issues that require technical involvement. For those issues that do require technical involvement, collect and document information from users and forward to IT or Enertia.
• Backup the Manager of System Data Support - Serve as the liaison between users and IT and/or software developer for Enertia related issues when the manager if unavailable.
• Research Future Enhancements – Assess Carrizo’s business needs and identify areas of improvement.
• Verify Enertia User Security Profiles for SOX compliance
• Develop new user reports from Enertia utilizing the system’s report writer or other outside software as requested
• Write scripts to interface other applications to Enertia
• Assist in mapping, building, and maintaining a data warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned relating to application software

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years as a Business Data, Systems Analyst, and/or Programmer; experience in oil and gas industry is preferred.

Other requirements include:
• Advance knowledge of ERP software, Enertia being a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
• Knowledge of E&P accounting a strong plus
• Strong computer aptitude and ability to use software tools to streamline business processes
• Ability to manage complex projects
• Report writing knowledge with Crystal Reports being a plus
• Self motivated, detail oriented and organized with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong work ethic and personal integrity
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft’s Excel and Access applications
• Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 is a plus
• Advance knowledge of SQL programming
• Prior Data Warehouse experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus
• Knowledge of Hyperion is a plus

Education 

Degree in Business Admin., Accounting/Finance or Information Technology is required.
